Global Settings — Limits Reset Rules, Old Batch Cleanup, Cron Toggle & Next Run

The Global Settings page (also accessible via the Campaigns tab in the GravityOps → Mass Notifications menu) is where you manage overall sending behavior and housekeeping for Mass Email Notifications.

Send Limits #

See Setup → Configure Global Send Limits (Throttling) for details on how to enter your provider’s limits and why it’s best to stay below them. The Global Settings page displays your configured limits and shows

  • Limit Counters: Displays current usage vs. limits for per minute, hour, day, and month (if configured).
  • Next Send-Ready Time: Shows when the next email can be sent based on throttling. If no limits are currently hit, it will say “Ready now”.

Old Batch Cleanup #

  • Choose how long completed and canceled batches are kept.
  • Options: 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, or Never.
  • Scheduled, pending, or in-progress batches are never deleted. Only completed or canceled batches that have not been updated within the retention period will be removed.

Cron Job Toggle & Next Run #

  • The page shows whether a cron job is currently scheduled.
  • You’ll see either:
    • “Cron jobs are currently paused”
    • “You do not currently have a cron job scheduled”
    • or “The next cron job is scheduled for [date/time]”.
  • Use the Toggle Cron Schedule button to pause or resume the cron jobs as needed.

Batch Tables #

Below the settings you’ll find expandable/collapsible tables of all batches, organized by status:

  • In Progress
  • Pending
  • Scheduled
  • Completed
  • Canceled

Each row shows basic info (form, feed, batch label, entry ID, batch size, last updated, times sent). Clicking a batch reveals more details, including the individual recipients, subject, message, and delivery status.

From these tables you can also:

  • (Re)Send to start delivery immediately (still respects throttling).
  • Cancel a pending or in-progress batch.
  • Mark Complete to stop sending and close out the batch.

These tools give you visibility into your sending pipeline, control over background jobs, and the ability to keep your database tidy by clearing out old completed or canceled batches.
