Changelog

1.9.2 | Aug 27, 2026 #

  • Feeds on the Notification Sent and Notification Failure triggers can now put the notification's own content into the task, with new {notification:subject}, {notification:message}, {notification:to}, {notification:name}, {notification:status} and {notification:error} merge tags — so a task about a failed notification can finally say what actually failed.
  • Fixed the Create Task workflow step offering feeds that are already run by their own trigger, which created the task twice — once without the triggering event's details. Such feeds are no longer listed on the step.
  • The Feeds tab is now searchable, its activation toggles apply without reloading the page, and workflow steps are listed alongside feeds.
  • The Docs tab now sits before Help, with minor polish to the suite admin screens.

1.9.1 | Aug 3, 2026 #

  • GravityOps now asks for one short suite-wide survey instead of one survey per plugin, using a compact invitation and a dedicated dashboard form.
  • Closing a survey or review prompt now saves "not interested" immediately without reloading the page.

1.9.0 | Aug 2, 2026 #

  • Added a Settings tab with failure handling options, so you can choose the Asana project and assignee used for the "Task Creation Failed" backup task.
  • Backup tasks are now created even if the chosen fallback project or assignee is no longer available, so a failure is never silently lost.
  • Added a Description Format choice to the feed: send the task description as rich text or as plain text, so code snippets and literal angle brackets appear as written.
  • Recent task creation failures now appear in the Asana dashboard widget, with links to the entry and the backup task.
  • Failed task creations now add a note to the entry explaining what Asana rejected.
  • Fixed task descriptions with unbalanced formatting breaking task creation; the formatting is now corrected automatically, and if Asana still rejects it the task is retried as plain text instead of failing.
  • Fixed connection settings saves for administrators whose Gravity Forms access is provided through the full-access capability.
  • Cancelling or denying the Asana authorization now returns you to the Connection screen with a clear message instead of doing nothing.
  • The Asana authorization is now recognized only when it belongs to this plugin, so it no longer interferes with other plugins' connection flows, and each administrator's authorization is kept separate.
  • Stopped re-saving the stored Asana connection on every request and made reading it more resilient, so a stored connection can no longer be corrupted into needing a fresh reauthorization.
  • Added a new developer filter for how many recent task failures the dashboard widget shows.
  • Added a Docs tab so the full plugin documentation is available right inside your WordPress dashboard.
  • Refreshed the Help tab with documentation, community, and support links.
  • The Account, Pricing, and Affiliation tabs now only appear when they apply to your license.
  • Improved the GravityOps dashboard with per-plugin icons, correct changelog links, update checks that no longer hold up the page, and a fix for opening a plugin right after activating it.
  • Individual plugin pages are no longer listed in the WordPress admin sidebar; open them from the GravityOps dashboard instead.
  • Various behind-the-scenes improvements to performance and security.
