Fixed a packaging fault that left required plugin files out of the 1.5.0 download, which caused a fatal error on sites that updated to it. Updating restores the plugin; no settings or schedules were affected.
Rebuilt scheduling so resubmissions land when you expect them. Schedules are now calculated in your site's timezone, keep the run time you chose across daylight-saving changes, and handle month-ends and leap days explicitly. An occurrence is never submitted before its scheduled time, and on a healthy site it runs within roughly one background-check interval after it.
Added a Queue with a full attempt history for every series: the time each attempt was due, when it actually started and finished, what triggered it, the outcome, the entry it created, and the exact fields that failed validation. Getting help no longer depends on reproducing the problem.
Late attempts now explain themselves. Each one is labelled with what the evidence shows — normal polling, a delayed WordPress cron dispatch, a wait inside a busy processing pass, or a manual run — and the explanation appears in the attempt history and on the entry note. Lateness is diagnostic information only; it is never counted as a failure.
Added a Missed runs setting to each feed. After an outage you can either submit the overdue occurrence once and then continue as normal (the default, and what every existing feed already did), or skip it entirely and resume at the next future occurrence — useful when a submission dated days after the fact is just noise. Manual runs and retries always submit, however stale the occurrence is.
Turning a feed off, or stopping an individual series, now genuinely stops attempts, and matches the state shown on screen.
Trashing or deleting the original entry now ends its recurring schedules instead of leaving them running. Restoring the entry deliberately does not restart them; a note on the entry explains how to start a new series.
Repeated failures are now bounded by a retry policy and reported once as an event rather than as a repeating email, and the failure notice is a single compact line linking to the Queue instead of a full report rendered on unrelated admin pages.
Fixed the entry screen. Two feeds on one entry no longer break the layout, the recurring panel sits below the standard entry boxes by default, its headings link to the relevant feed settings, and actions now update in place instead of reloading the page, so unsaved edits and notes elsewhere on the screen survive.
The Queue now opens on a Current view that hides paused, completed and canceled series while keeping failed work visible, adds a Canceled filter, and offers a copyable diagnostics report for support requests.
Background-processing problems are now kept and explained after they clear, instead of vanishing the moment you open the page, and the health panel says plainly that the worker is a periodic check rather than a running process. A scheduled check that is already overdue now runs at its due time rather than being pushed further into the future.
Both shortcodes now require permission to manage recurring submissions before they display anything. Previously any visitor to a page containing them could read a series' status, schedule, next run and failure counts, and the overview listed every series on the site. A filter is available to widen the read deliberately; the action buttons keep their own separate permission check.
The overview shortcode now lists active series by default and accepts a status attribute, and the entry widget accepts entry_id="current" so one page can show a list alongside its detail view. Both work correctly on a front-end page without sending the visitor into the dashboard.
Restored the premium requirement on Cancel Series, which was lost in the rebuild.
Greatly expanded logging: manual actions and why they were refused, background pass summaries including passes that ran out of time, feed-driven pauses and resumes, scheduled-event repairs, and failure transitions with their failure code and streak. Submitted values, error messages and URLs are still never written to the log.
Existing series are migrated automatically, keeping their exact next run time, successful-submission count and stored data. Anything that cannot be migrated is reported rather than silently replaced.
Removed the per-series schedule editor, which had no way to reach it. Change a series by editing its feed and applying the saved schedule to existing series.
Rewrote and greatly expanded the built-in documentation: thirty-nine pages across Getting Started, Setup, Settings Reference, How-To Guides, Explanations, Troubleshooting, Developer Reference and Changelog, with every setting, lifecycle state and symptom in a table.
Marked as tested with WordPress 7.1.
Updated the shared GravityOps library for consistent feed tables and toggles across the suite, support for workflow steps in those tables, and assorted interface fixes.
Resubmissions are now processed on a frequent background schedule (every 15 minutes by default) instead of once a day, so scheduled runs land much closer to their intended time. Note that this depends on your host running WordPress cron that often.
The check for failed and overdue resubmissions, along with its admin notice and digest email, now runs twice a day instead of once.
Existing sites move onto the new schedules automatically, with no need to reactivate the plugin.
Added a Settings tab under GravityOps holding the Admin Email setting and the Active Resubmissions table; the Recurring Submissions tab under Forms → Settings now opens it. This replaces the old Queue tab.
Added developer filters for tuning how often the resubmission worker and the failed/overdue check run, and for anchoring the check's first run to a preferred time of day.
Fixed settings saves for administrators whose Gravity Forms access is provided through the full-access capability.
Added a Docs tab so the full plugin documentation is available right inside your WordPress dashboard.
