GravityOps Forum integrates with Gravity Flow on Premium plans.

1. Availability #

This integration is available when both of the following are true:

  • GravityOps Forum Premium is active.
  • Gravity Flow is installed and loaded.

2. Step Type #

The integration registers a Gravity Flow step labeled:

  • Create Forum Entity

This step uses the GravityOps Forum feed add-on behavior for entity creation.

3. Processing Model #

With Premium feed-based processing:

  • Active forum feeds determine whether a topic/reply/login/register action is executed.
  • Conditional logic on feeds controls whether a given feed runs.
  • Forum posting behavior is aligned with feed activation and feed conditions.

4. Workflow Benefit: Moderation Before Publishing #

Using the Create Forum Entity step inside a Gravity Flow workflow lets you control when forum content is created.

  • Add approval or moderation steps before Create Forum Entity to keep content out of the forum until reviewed.
  • Use different workflow branches to publish, reject, or escalate entries before any topic/reply is created.
  • Keep forum posting as part of one auditable workflow timeline instead of immediate form-submit posting.

5. Notes and Timeline #

  • The step consolidates forum feed processing notes into the entry timeline.
  • If no active matching feed applies, posting is skipped according to feed logic.

6. Practical Setup Checklist #

  1. Ensure your Topic/Reply/Login/Register feeds are configured.
  2. Confirm feed conditional logic is intentional when multiple feeds exist.
  3. Add any required approval/moderation steps before Create Forum Entity.
  4. Add the Create Forum Entity step at the point where forum content should become live.
  5. Test with entries that should and should not pass feed conditions.
