# Known Limitations

- Tasks can be created as a regular task or a milestone. Asana's other task types are not offered: `approval` keeps its status in sync with the task's completion, which needs handling of its own, and a custom task type cannot be given its type at creation time — the Asana API only accepts that on an update — so a task created that way would have no type at all.
- As of now the plugin cannot properly map to the "Timer" custom field. Under the hood the API treats it as a "Date" custom field and it will show up as such in the custom field mapping section. But the actual mapping will try to do the mapping as if for a regular "Date" custom field. It won't cause any errors but you won't achieve the desired mapping.
