# Finding the Plugin in Your Dashboard

Recurring Form Submissions adds screens in three places: the **GravityOps** menu, the **form's own settings**, and the **entry detail page**.

---

## 1. GravityOps → Recurring Submissions

This is the plugin's home. Open **GravityOps → Recurring Submissions** in the WordPress admin sidebar.

| Tab | What it's for |
| --- | --- |
| **Overview** | A high-level summary with links into Queue. |
| **Queue (N)** | The operations screen: every series, its next run, its history and its controls. The number in the tab is how many series need attention. |
| **Settings** | Admin email, default failure limit, history retention, and worker health. |
| **Feeds** | Every recurring feed across every form, with activation toggles. |
| **Docs** | This documentation, inside your dashboard. |
| **Help** | Support, community and documentation links. |

Account, Pricing and Affiliation tabs appear only when they apply to your license.

> **Tip:** individual plugin pages are not listed in the WordPress sidebar. Open them from the GravityOps dashboard.

---

## 2. Form Settings — where feeds are configured

To create or edit a schedule, go to:

**Forms → (your form) → Settings → Recurring Submissions**

Each feed on that screen defines one schedule. A form can have several.

> **Note:** **Forms → Settings → Recurring Submissions** (the Gravity Forms *global* settings tab, without a form selected) opens **Queue**, not the feed editor. The feed editor always lives inside a specific form.

---

## 3. Entry pages — per-entry controls

Open **Forms → (your form) → Entries → (an entry)**.

In the sidebar you'll find a **Recurring Submissions** box with **one card per recurring feed**, showing:

- whether the feed is active,
- the series status and its schedule in plain language,
- the exact next target, with timezone, and the window it is expected to run in,
- the last attempt and its result,
- successful submissions so far, and consecutive failures,
- the buttons that apply to that series right now.

The box's title opens the form's recurring feeds in a new tab; each card's feed name opens that feed's settings in a new tab.

**Position:** the box defaults below the native Gravity Forms sidebar boxes, but if you drag it somewhere else WordPress remembers your placement and the plugin will not override it.

---

## Reading the Queue Filters

Queue defaults to the **Current** view, which deliberately hides paused, completed and canceled series — including series paused because their feed was deactivated. Failed work stays visible.

| Filter | Shows |
| --- | --- |
| Current | Everything except paused, completed and canceled. |
| All | Every series still inside the retention window. |
| Scheduled | Series waiting for their next target. |
| Processing | Series being submitted right now. |
| Needs attention | Series with a current issue, plus series stopped at the failure threshold. |
| Paused | Deliberately paused, or paused because the feed is inactive. |
| Completed | Finished their limit. |
| Canceled | Ended by an administrator, or by their parent entry being trashed. |

All dates on these screens include the time **and** the timezone, because a series runs in its own timezone rather than yours.

> A series can **need attention** and still have its next automatic retry scheduled. The two are not contradictory.

---

## Starting vs. Submitting

Two buttons look similar and do very different things. This distinction matters more than any other in the plugin:

| Button | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| **Start Series From Now** | Creates a schedule. The **next** occurrence is scheduled in the future. Nothing is submitted right now. |
| **Run Next Submission Now** | Submits immediately, consuming the next slot, and keeps the long-term rhythm. |

---

## The Admin Notice

When something needs attention, a short notice appears at the top of your dashboard with a count and a link to **Queue → Needs attention**.

- It stays compact no matter how much history exists.
- Dismissing it is **per administrator**, and it stays dismissed until a new issue appears.
- **Warning** severity means retries are still scheduled. **Error** severity means series have stopped, or the worker is unhealthy.
