# Batch Statuses & Actions

Batches go through distinct statuses from creation to completion. Each status tells you where the batch is in its lifecycle and what you can do with it.

## Statuses

- **Pending**: Batch has been created and is in the 5‑minute review window. Nothing has been sent yet.
- **In Progress**: Cron is actively sending emails from this batch, paced by your throttling limits.
- **Completed**: All recipients have been processed successfully.
- **Cancelled**: Sending stopped manually or due to an intentional cancel action.
- **Scheduled**: The batch is scheduled to be sent on specific dates.

## Actions

- **Preview**: Click on the batch to review recipients, subject, and message before, during or after sending.
- **Send Now**: Skip the remaining delay and begin sending immediately (still respects throttling).
- **Resend:** Resend a batch that was canceled or completed (respects throttling).
- **Cancel**: Halt the batch mid-send. Remaining emails will not be delivered.
- **Mark Complete**: End the batch early without sending the remainder, useful if the information is no longer relevant.
